Paws & Poise

Making meaningful tasks simplified and efficient

Introduction

Paws & Poise is a mobile grooming service that operates a fleet of trucks. This family-owned business has traditionally booked appointments over the phone or through email. There has been a surge of interested customers which has made scheduling difficult. With the launch of their new website, they want to address their scheduling issue and also find a way to make additional profits off of their homemade pet care products (soaps, perfumes, lotions, etc.). They have hired you to design a mobile-first website that allows their users to schedule appointments and order their pet care products.

To understand users journey when scheduling grooming services as well as discover users thoughts on purchasing grooming products through a groomers mobile app.

What are users saying....

Through a series of user interviews, I tailored questions to gain insights into the pet grooming appointment process and the purchasing habits of everyday pet owners for grooming products. Utilizing affinity mapping, I delved deep into these interviews, identifying recurring trends in how pet owners perceive appointment processes and product purchases.

Shazam

Turning the chaotic search for tunes into a seamless symphony of discovery

Introduction

Shazam, known for quickly identifying songs, is now trying to do more with the data it collects. While people mostly use it briefly to find song titles, Shazam aims to make its app more engaging by helping users discover new music, follow artists, and export songs to Spotify playlists. Despite having a lot of data on users' music preferences, Shazam is figuring out how to turn it into useful features that keep people using the app for longer.
